All about Blake

Blake is 14 years old and is in 9th grade this year. He likes video games, especially Pokemon, building using his imagination and whatever supplies are at hand, hanging out with his cousins and friends, going to WAL-MART and talking on the phone.

Blake likes school pretty well; and his grades have always been good. I'm very proud of him :-)

Blake is in ROTC this year and is really enjoying it. See him in his uniform here and a full shot here.

Blake's favorite movie is Titanic. His favorite song is I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys.

I've been told that at least one of your children will be just like you to get you back for all the trouble you were when you were a child. Well, Blake is that child for me. *smile* He is so much like me that even I can see it! haha He loves to talk, is a constant source of amusement to me. My folks are quick to point out that he is exactly like his mother (me)!
Blake is the sweetest child I believe I've ever met; he really feels others' pain and heartaches. He loves to "take care of Mom" when I'm down and he's had lots of practice since I've been having back problems. He never seems to tire of waiting on me when I need it (which is something I hate to ask for) and he is genuinely interested in how others feel about himself and the world around him. I don't have a favorite child; mothers aren't afforded that luxury; but Blake is just like his Mom; so much so that it worries me sometimes!
