Silver Frame Tutorial
Silver Frame Tutorial

You need the pool shadow filter for this tutorial.

Open photo or image you wish to frame.

Use the light gray in the color palette as your background color.
The foreground color can be white but I don't think it matters.

Click Image -->Add border - '10' symmetric.

Using magic wand tool, select border.

Image-->Drop shadow - color black, opacity 101, blur 20, H2 V2.
Drop shadow again with same settings except use H-2 and V-2.

Image-->Plugin filters-->Use the pool shadow filter; play with
the settings till you get the effect you want.

Buttonize or use your plugin bevel filter.
I like the Button Maker Square plugin.

That's it; you're done.

You can use this same type process to create silver text.
Use a bold text in a large pt. size.
Fill the text with the light gray color
and then use the pool shadow filter.
Keep experimenting for the effect you want.

If for some reason, this doesn't work,
please let me know and I'll revise the instructions.
